Aku tertarik dengan buku ini karena kisah pencarian Cat Stevens akan jati dirinya.
Karena akupun demikian, mencari... entah apa yang sedang aku pikirkan dan lalui, hanya hatiku dan Tuhan yang tahu.
   Mungkin tidak banyak yang mengenal Yusuf Islam, tapi bagaimana dengan Cat Stevens? Ya, dia adalah seorang superstar musik dunia di era 60 dan 70-an.
   Buku ini menceritakan kisah perjalanan spiritualnya, meninggalkan dunia gemerlap untuk menjadi muslim. Perjalanan yang dilaluinya berliku, mulai dari tuduhan-tuduhan tidak jelas dari kalangan media hingga sempat dituduh memiliki kaitan dengan terorisme, padahal yang dia lakukan tak lain hanyalah melakukan kebaikan dan kegiatan kemanusiaan. Tuduhan yang tidak masuk akal!
   Selain kisah-kisah lain, kisah pencariannyalah yang membuatku semakin mencari...
   Ada sebuah lagu yang menarik perhatianku, aku belum pernah mendengarnya. Namun kata-kata dalam lagu itulah yang membuatku... (biar aku simpan saja lanjutan kata-katanya), "The view from the top can be.. so very lonely"
